Anjali & Mitch

Colorful, Emotional, and Memorable

If I had to sum up Anjali and Mitch's wedding day in three words, I would call it colorful, emotional, and memorable.  Anjali and Mitch truly have two of the most selfless and loving personalities I've ever encountered - it's no wonder their magnetic selves connected in divinity school a few years ago; the rest is history.  Their wedding weekend included the most beautiful blend of culture and tradition as they invited friends and family from near and far to celebrate with them at Mount Ida Lodge.  Their families met for the first time at their rehearsal dinner on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, and continued the celebration all weekend long throughout their wedding day and during a Sunday brunch hosted by the bride's mother.  Anjali and Mitch were married by her college pastor, and Anjali's brother led all wedding guests in a hymn while singing and playing guitar.  Traditional Indian cuisine, bright traditional dress worn by all of the bride's family, and a stunning cake and macaroons from the bakery where Anjali worked while attending school all made the couple's wedding day that much more special.  Everyone danced all night long until the newlyweds were sent off in a farewell of bubbles!
