Alexandra & Ryan

Classic Richmond Wedding

Celebrating in Richmond specifically was the obvious choice for Alex and Ryan; it's where their love story began!  Bringing their families, closest friends, and college roommates together in RVA to share in the weekend's celebration was magical. Following a timeless Catholic ceremony in the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, the wedding party hopped aboard the trolley and rode through the city that captured their hearts.  Stopping in Libby Park on the unusually cooler July day was a must!  The way the bridesmaids' gowns glimmered in the sunlight was stunning, and the smiles on Alex and Ryan's faces were contagious. Arriving at the historic Bolling Haxall House for their evening reception, guests were welcomed with classical piano tunes, courtesy of the talented Joe Loschiavo, and sipped on specialty cocktails selected by the bride and groom themselves. Heartfelt toasts were made by the bride's father, maid of honor, and best man, and shortly after dinner, everyone was on the dance floor. Fun surprises like the Polish Polka to honor Alex's family, and a special appearance from the VCU mascot, Rodney the Ram, made the entire night incredibly memorable.  A sparkler send-off before riding away in a classic Richmond pedicab was the icing on the cake. These two were made for each other, and it was such an honor to play a tiny part in their beautiful wedding day.  Congratulations, lovers!
